Wine Maverick Bush Vine Syrah 2021 Corcolettes Syrah 2021

0-90 minutes. Both have a serious acidic core. Tannins negligible in both wines. 90minutes-3 hours. Maverick Bush Vine Syrah is a step up in intensity. A variety of flavours standout on the Bush Vine. Black licorice, black fruit compote, some tar. Length of finish is off the charts. 3 hours onward. Tannins start to emerge, making mouthfeel much more complex. This note is mostly Maverick, it was all about the Bush Vine Syrah. 2nd best BC Syrah I have ever tasted....

Kaitlyn hands down made this one of the most memorable winery experiences we have ever had. This is our second time in Osoyoos and Maverick was a favourite of ours from the first time around. Maverick was our last stop this time and Kaitlyn certainly made it an amazing experience. Right off the bat she was extremely welcoming and personable and made sure we were looked after. She went above and beyond, we could not recommend her more. She helped us fall in love with Maverick even more and now we are excited to be apart of their wine club. Maverick is one of those wineries that makes you feel like you’re home from the moment you walk in the door. It’s family owned and you can tell that they bring their high values into their business. Their white wines are to die for! It’s a cool facility with interesting architecture and aesthetics as well (if that matters to you, it doesn’t matter to me). Amazing service and great wine makes this place top notch!

Ohhhhh and before I forget. Pre-covid they would host a winemakers dinner event at Backyard Farms. The best time! Great food, awesome people, and just the best energy! I can’t wait to be able to...
