A wonderful but windy spot to walk the dogs and experience the Wild West coast. There are multiple parking areas and convenient kiosks to purchase a park pass or beach walk pass for the day or a few hours which was really convenient and only $14 for the beach walk 4 hours or $11 per person for the day. Be prepared for wind and for it to be colder, so dress wisely. If you want to walk the whole beach, be prepared to spend some time there as (the name suggests) it’s long!! Lots of waves and riptides for surfing but probably not a great beach to swim at. We brought our pups along with us (be sure to clean up after your pets if you bring them) and they loved the beach! Highly recommend making this. Stop while on the west side...

Stunning Beach with Gorgeous Scenery Long Beach on Vancouver Island is absolutely breathtaking! The vast stretches of soft sand, crashing waves, and beautiful coastal views make it a perfect spot for a day of relaxation or adventure. Whether you’re into beachcombing, surfing, or just enjoying a peaceful walk, this beach has it all.

The surrounding wilderness adds to the feeling of being completely immersed in nature. Facilities are basic but well-maintained, and parking is convenient. It can get busy during peak season, but the space is large enough to still feel peaceful.

Highly recommend for anyone visiting Vancouver Island — a must-see...

Great place you gotta go there. Powerful waves nice scenery. People should pick up there garbage and one extra piece when they leave. Most do. It's our ocean and planet let's look after it. If you saw what's going on in the oceans it would blow you away . They say there is 1 trillion pieces of plastic floating around. Ask yourself how did we let it get that bad. Industry is one . People in general to. When no one is around they let it go. They should be fined never allowed to do business again. Put in jail, maybe throw away the key, we don't need you in our society. Remember this is all we have. Please keep this place the way...

Wow, then stunning views out outwards, incredible sights and sounds of the ocean. Been here before and will be back again in the future. Walking through the hard packed sand and watching the surfers.
