Absolute best place to take the dog in Vernon. Past the large front field there is a covered forest wonderland. Long trails with bridges, various paths, and a flowing creek for the dogs to cool off in. People also decorate the trees with christmas ornaments around the holidays, which is so quaint! The city has invested in several expansion projects recently, including a sediment pond, a number of permanent garbage bins, and a permanent toilet. Sometimes there is even a coffee trailer that parks outside the gates! The parking lot is large, however it can be rough riding. You don't need a 4 wheeler or anything, but the potholes get insane in the spring. Ideally the next project will be fixing the lot.

This is a wonderful dog park, I take my dogs at least 4 times a week and my young pup loves socializing and playing with the other dogs, and my old guy enjoys having all the good sniffs and playing ball in the field. The people are all easy going and it's rare to run into an aggressive dog. The trail along the creek gives the dogs lots of opportunities to get wet, cool off and have a drink. I also like that they provide poop bags and there is a washroom there for me too. A perfect spot in all seasons.

This dog park is near Mutrie. It is fenced in with the exception of the forest area. This dog park is meant more for bigger and wilder dogs as they tend to play near the creek and forest area. You can't bring dog sleds here. There's a creek and potential birds. The whole park is flat. If you stay away from the creek, it's a rather small looping path by dog park standards. Be careful as strange wet dogs may jump on you due to excitement.

Dogpark snob here,.. MAN!!! THIS DOG PARK IS AMAZING! I work all over BC and Alberta, bringing my dogs to all sorts of different dog parks.. and when I say this is hands down the nicest one I've been too, im not lying. I WISH kelowna had something this perfect for an offleash DP.

There's a beautiful water hole connected to a creek that goes along all the paths inside the trees, a massive loop, BEAUTIFUL SCENERY, SOO MUCH SHADE, and a HUGE open field.

Nicest off leash dog park ive ever been too. Ive never been more satisfied with this. City of vernon, contact Kelowna and tell them to take notes,...

Used to love this dog park for our med pup, but since they changed it and put in that middle fence (so the groundkeeper vehicals can get in) our dog can no longer go unleashed, they need to put chain fencing on the trouble front spots before we would come back for unleashed fun. The back trail is beautiful though and our dog gets leashed there anyways, so thats ok. (Im not upset about them making it better and easier for them to come in, just the opposite, happy its better for them, just dont want our dog escaping again and running to hunters store before...
