Nice trails, but dogs are not welcome. Dogs are only allowed a small number of black trails (White Elephant, Montezuma, and Montezuma's Revenge) and one tiny green trail (Wylie's Loop, half a kilometer). You are not allowed to have a dog for warm-up or training in the stadium, or on any of other green and blue trails. That is way too restrictive! (Dogs not even allowed on Gold Mountain - come on!) Even worse, you have to be a season pass holder and buy a season pass for your dog - no...

You come here on a moderately well-built road. It's quaint, but dated and battered from the countless winters. The interior is warm and welcoming. You look around and see the posters on the community boards; for sale, skiing events... nothing too out of the ordinary. You enter further and notice the sitting hall. Great xc ski and snowshoe area. Groomed daily! One of the best cross country ski areas in Canada with their all natural early season snow. They also have lessons and rentals available for reasonable prices. Friendly helpful staff to answer any questions you have. Their trail maps are very user friendly. The day lodge has snacks and coffee for purchase. Day passes or season passes are required.

I was snowshoeing up there. Was pretty nice. Well-defined trails. Some opening if you wanted to break your own trail through trees. I have heard cross country skiers are touchy about snowshoers, but I didn't have any issues. Just respect their groomed tracks. There were some good lookouts. I just wish there were more considering the area. I just might need to do more exploring.

What a wonderful cross-country spot. Beautifully groomed trails, kilometres of options, kind employees, barrel-bottom prices, riders ranging from beginner to world class, and, somehow, consistently great snow. I always make a point to swing by at least once when I'm visiting the Okanagan in the winter. Never a disappointment.
