Phoenix Mountain Ski Area — Attraction in Area D (Granby Valley)

Great little hill with a rope and a T-bar serving a mix of glades and piste and a terrain park with better features than some larger resorts. Pricing for tickets and food cannot be beat. Do not sleep on visiting this hill, but check the schedule for open days since it may not be open on some weekdays.

Cell signal only available at the top of the T-bar, and spotty reception at that. It might even connect you to American cell towers so check your phone's roaming status.

The approach from Greenwood is less maintained and has less signage than the approach from Grand Forks. If it has snowed recently, AWD and winter tires are absolutely necessary from the Greenwood side due to steep and tight...

This is a fantastic hill! It has been great having our kids grow and learn to ski and snowboard here, and they are able to independent and ride with the family.
