Quick walk down from a small parking area to see what has to be one of the nicer sets of falls I have seen in Canada. Super easy access, next to no barriers, and not a speck of garbage to be seen. Fire pits and picnic tables at the lakeside along with an outhouse. Stunning views of Kootenay Lake looking across to the East shore and beyond into the mountains. Read moreIt's quite deceptive, you can hear the sound of the falls almost immediately but if you take the official track down to the falls its still quite a walk ahead but it's a great walk through the old forest down to the falls and the beach.
