Just a fantastic park for the whole family and pets to hike and explore and really convenient to get to.

The hiking trail range from easy to moderate but has amazing old growth forest scenery and charm not to mention 2 small waterfalls that are just wonderful to spend time at and explore. The extensive trail system allows you to decide how much time you want to spend in the park but you can easily spend 1/2 a day here walking all the trails in this park to take in all it has to offer. I can see why people would keep coming back to the trails at this park over and over again. If you're around this area, I'd highly recommend taking a walk...

What a great park!! We went on a drizzly day in march and it was stunning. The hike was fairly easy with a few challenging bits. The trails were clearly marked with small maps posted throughout. There is a very clean washroom. There are many benches and areas to rest. There’s even a fun little geocache! The only issue I had was there were very many off leash dogs who just ran up to us ahead of their human….so if you’ve got kids who would be scared or a reactive dog...

A gem of a park. Absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous trails, with many beautiful waterfalls.

Update (Dec 2021) I don't live on the SSC but I do visit this park everytime I am here. The floods did alter the 2 creeks and it will be interesting to see what happens in the future.

Please note at this moment 2 bridges have been closed due to damage...

A local gem - trails are good for all ages and dogs are welcome. There are waterfalls and creeks sprinled liberally throughout so on a hot day it's a perfect place for a dip. Most trails are unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. The only spot that is, is at the top of the parking lot with a brief stroll in to see the top of one of the waterfalls.
