If you are looking for a truly unique hot springs experience, then this is the place for you. Although the trail access has been built up for safety, it still is a super remote cool real sulphur spring. There are 3 main "pools", ranging in NATURAL temperature, (this is Gods and Motherearth's creations), from the upper pool being the hottest, to the least warm nestled literally right beside a freezing rushing river! These are organic, beautiful, real creations of the earth, so please be aware that it smells like sulphur, they are made of rough rocks and stones and can be slippery. So fellow adventurer consider the following, -The drive in is a logging road, that has some intense sections, dont go in the winter unless you are a confident driver with good winter tires or 4x4!! -They are in the wild, no man made buildings, railings etc., just you the pools, the river and trees the way God made them! So prepare to change in the open, or be really strategic if you are more modest ;). There is a hike down, so be prepared to hike out! -DO NOT LITTER!! It still blows my mind that people continually bring garbage and leave it this remotely beautiful serene place, (FYI there is no staff to clean up after you!) So obey the rule: what you bring in, you bring out! -Lastly, (and this may be a bit bias) People want to come here to have a relaxing, unique experience.

So please be selfless and aware of your surroundings, people did not make the long trek to come here to have it ruined by ignorant fellow guests! You can have a fun and enjoy yourself and friends, but consider speaking quietly, this is not a club. DONT let your kids run around and be disruptive to other quests, this isn't Disney, or worst get hurt! And again PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE GARBAGE!! This means ANY kind, even if it is food! They are in the mountains, in the wild and if you leave food garbage you will attract animals for future dippers. Leaving other garbage is just lazy, rude and makes this place become a public dump! We want to keep it the way it so that it remains natural, so future people can continue to enjoy it!

Sorry about the rant at the end, my experience there was so fantastic that I would love for more respectful people to experience it in the beautiful conditions they...

Really cool place about 20mins from the highway. The different pools offer various temperatures going down closer to the river. If you want to cool down afterwards, I suggest a quick bath in the river (it's really cold thought).

Sadly the place itself was a little crowded when we were there. We could get into every pool, but not lie down completely most of the time.

The kids there seemed to have fun and there are a few small boulders to climb and different water temperatures to explore for them.

Compared to the other hot springs around here we tried, these ones smelled a little more sulfuric which I liked.

There were the usual two toilet cabins at the top, but no hand sanitizer, so better bring your own. Also there were no showers, even more a reason to take a quick bath in the river to get rid of the smell and the little algae from the hot waters. The way down to the springs from the parking lot is not step, well made (gravel) and about 2mins by foot. I recommend to go down there with shoes as some people looked quite in pain when walking the path without them.

I don't know for sure, but would estimate the warmest pool to 40° C and the ones below to 38° with some disruptions of cold river water coming by sometimes.

The rocks may get slippery due to the algae so stay safe.

The road was a bumpy ride for us who are not used it, but definitely worth the drive and the dirty car.

We really enjoyed it and I would suggest it if you want something different than those swimming pool like hot springs.

Sadly I can't provide you pictures as I left my phone in the car and don't really like if people take pictures at...

The road to get to these spring is the scariest road I have ever been on. It is a straight drop down thousands of feet. Going up is especially horrendous. Once we made it there it was a steep wall down on a rocky path to these beautiful natural hot spring. They smell like rotten eggs but once u get.over the smell it is quite nice. The two lower pools were quite cold as theynget the runoff from the river but they are a good place to wash off in. When we went it was may long weekend. It's said there is not drinking allowed there but this is most definitely not the case. I was pretty frustrated as it was packed with drunken teenagers. I was also worried as there was clearly no sober driver and it upset me that they were willing to out others lives in danger for a party at the hot spring. Some people need to smarten up! I think it needs to be monitored more closely the dangers of drinking up there are multiplies immensely. The hot pools and drinking do not mix very well one lady had passed out from heat education and as there is no cell phone service it took over an hour for help to arrive. Be careful! Otherwise it was a beautiful place and the water did feel...

Went there on August 8th, 2019. I believe there were 4 pools that could be accessed. The river was low, which was nice. The hot pool was quite hot - much hotter than at Radium the day before (I would estimate at least 42-45 celsius). The logging road isn't bad - we did it in a moderate-sized sedan vehicle going about 40km in the last stretch before you reach the springs. I would never attempt it in the winter with a car. An SUV or truck with chains would probably be fine. Great place for people (such as those from Ontario) who are sorely disappointed by lack of a "natural feel" to Radium, Faremont, Banff, Miette, etc. This place is rocks all the way. FYI those are still natural springs at the other places, the tile doesn't make them fake. Unfortunately, dogs aren't technically allowed in the park at all, even on leash and out of the way of the pools. Not ideal on a hot day in the valley. I'm still giving 5 stars because we made it work - we of course did not consider leaving our pup in a hot car. I'd rather risk a fine for having her in the park than accidently kill our dog by leaving her in the car on a 32 celsius day.

Awesome place if you don’t mind the crowds! (If you do just head up super early.) wasn’t sure about it based on others reviews mentioning the road. It actually isn’t bad- we went up in our 24ft class C motor home without issue. It is pretty wide at the bottom but narrows for the last 5 km or so (see pic), but there are turn outs so it didn’t seem bad but I could see if logging trucks were passing you it might be nerve wracking. It has ruts and small potholes so it is bumpy. There is plenty of parking even space for RVs (see pic- that is just about half of it). Pools were Uber crowded when we were there bc everyone stays in the upper pool as the lower 2 were too cold except my crazy kids who played in them like a pool! A bit sulfur smelly. But the scenery was gorgeous and it was so fun to be in a real natural pool as opposed to the pools elsewhere (which we also visited). Pics not uploading. Will edit later.
