I always have a lot of fun here!! Nice and close to PG. There are some downsides though, the cost of food here is absolutely ridiculous so I always make sure to bring my own food. As well as lift ticket costs are pretty steep and usually only have the yellow chair life running and the tbar. Would be nice to have the whole mountain open if I'm going to be charged $70. Powderking is only $7 more with a better mountain, obviously a longer commute but there is a bus option. Overall great hill especially for learners

Purden is a regional treasure. An easy 45 min drive from Prince George, nice variety of slopes and maintained with a lot of community spirit. Viva Purden!

This was my second try on these hills. Enjoyable time, kind people, and the white cross jacket guys were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed skiing 🎿

Fun mountain, went on a recent powder day, lots of great runs. I've been going to purden for 20 years, and it's always the same on powder days, fun, but almost no grooming done for kids that might struggle in powder. Also, no grooming on any of the run outs, so it can be really hard to get enough speed to make it to the chairlift. Overall though, a good time, and really good staff, willing to help my kids on the lifts. Very expensive, and now that Tabor is done, alternatives are limited. Almost the same price as a major resort like Marmot, which is crazy. The astounding prices are best illustrated by food prices at the concession.

This past day out was my kids' first time there, and I had told them about how expensive the food was and that was the reason we packed a lunch. They said, okay, but how expensive? I told them the last time I was out, it was almost 15 bucks for chicken fingers and fries. The kids were amazed. Then we walked into the lodge and saw that the price had actually increased to 17.00! Not surprisingly, the concession line was non existent. Maybe if they lowered food prices they could sell more food and in turn could lower ticket prices?........... You'd think the food was coming by mule train over icy mountain passes. It's only a 60km drive to Costco. I just can't...

They have a small dog in the rentals room (the dog is not for rent, but he is super friendly!). The staff offer good advice when you ask for their expertise. If you want the rentals/lesson/lift pass, you have to book it ahead of time: the idea is the instructor signs you off on using the lift, so unfortunately you can't just skip out on the lesson for the great price. Beautiful runs, great lake view. It wasn't very busy, so we had the runs and some fluffy fresh snow to enjoy without the crowds! Ski patrol gave out doughnuts!...
