Clean washrooms with flush toilets and cold faucet water for washing. Potable/drinkable well water at taps. Hot showers available with a catch: $1 loonies must be 2012 or newer for the machine to work. $1 gets you 2 minutes (I used far right one). Was EXTREMELY disappointed that it was $1 for 4 minutes (using stopwatch) last year and that it had changed without notice. They do NOT advertise shower times! I recommend using a stopwatch to track times so you have time to wash/rinse 😅 I’ll also add the towel hooks are very small so the less you bring in the stall the better.

Great level & well maintained sites, nice trails (one encircling the lake itself), sandy beaches on a small lake. It would have been nice for BC Parks to mention shower cost of a Loonie and that the coins needed to be 2012 and newer, though.

Great campground. Many sites with good access to water. Great setup for families. It was my first time but my wife and friends have been camping there for years. Has water, sani dump, showers, flush toilets and a small playground.

This park is gorgeous. About 70k from Prince George and worth the drive. They have limited sites right on the lake with your own sandy beach and tent pads as well. We have a 24ft trailer and was a bit tricky getting in so if you have anything bigger maybe hold off before reserving. Once you are in the site they are huge and beautifully maintained. We stayed on #51.

Lots of parking for day use and a big playground with beach access for the kids and families. A bit of a drive off the highway and relatively quiet but can still hear a bit of highway noise.

They have both pit and flush toilets that we saw. There are trails all over the place that you can go on to link site to site if you have a big group which is cool.

Would definitely stay...

Love this place!! 35-40 mins from my driveway. It used to be barren because of the beetle kill years ago but it has bounced back and is thick and green and lush. The campsites are big, well maintained and private. For the most part, you can’t see your neighbours. Beats camping in the Okanagan!! We can have fires too unlike down south. Lake is warm for swimming but there are Zero fish in this lake. Great for paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking. There are washrooms with power, not just outhouses. The main bathroom also has hot showers around the backside. You have to pay a loonie or toonie but you get a good long shower. Great walking paths around the whole lake and a great sandy tiered public swimming beach across the lake from...

A nice campground. We received the most wood in our $7 bundle. Took a paddle across the clean lake with small sandy beach. We attempted to enjoy the paths, I'm not sure if it was this particular time or just this area, but the mosquitos were really bad in them. The portion of the path we did do mostly wound through woods killed off by pine beetles which was interesting in it's own way. The park for the kids was small but newer and well kept. Washrooms were conveniently located everywhere and the sand pads made either a nice area for small kids to play or a place to setup your tent...
