Wow! We loved our little stop at Stagleap Park. It was a +30 day in Creston and driving to the summit gave us a much needed break by a few degrees. We went for a walk on the 500m path which offered nice shade from the sun. The water and mountain view was a perfect way to take in a rest. We both feel at 34 kms from Creston this is a perfect picnic spot in the summer to enjoy the warmth, while getting a few degree break from the heat.

This place has some of the most beautiful breath taking scenery I have ever seen. Looking forward to next time when the snow is all gone to go going for a hike around the lake at the summit of the pass.

The things you can do from up here! Hike, birding, snowshoe, touring, driving, all easy access. Great views and fun to look at pictures from winter and summer. So much snow up here.
