Spider Lake Provincial Park — Attraction in Area H (Lighthouse Country)

Spider lake is a great place to go to with your family or friends, because there is a lot of shade you can go, many tables in different spots, the water is clear but non-drinkable, I haven't ever seen any trash on the little island or on the lake so the lake is clean. They don't allow boats which sucks cuz I have to go to Horne lake with my Dad's small electric boat just to use it, I can see why but small inflatable electrically powered boats aren't allowed which is kinda dumb. It's a great lake to paddleboard on. I don't have any photos of the lake but I'll see if I can remember to take photos when I go...

I really enjoy Spider lake my adult kids drive over an hour to this one where we all meet. The water has cold currents but overall temperature is great. No motors are allowed great for swimming and paddle boards and kayaks etc. It has a boat ramp for ease of entering. It is fairly big with several small islands to swim to. It can get busy but who needs a huge Beach area if you are in the water. There are picnic tables...

Excellent day park with picnic tables and nice beaches. There are spots to sit in the shade as well as sunny spots. There are out houses as well. The lake itself is great to swim in. There are a couple small islands you can swim to or take a kayak or canoe to and the little islands have nice beaches too.no motorized boats...
