We were fortunate enough to experience this great snowshoeing adventure on a bright sunny day. Although the trails were not groomed for snowshoeing, they were well packed down from earlier hikers and they were well marked with signage. There are a few mild ups and downs which provided good exercise but nothing overly strenuous. Thankfully, it was not crowded, which was a pleasant surprise. Consider bringing a back pack with a lunch, or if you're really ambitious, a potable burner a small kettle for boiling water and some hot chocolate make for a great reward half way. Read moreBeautiful in the winter. If you are up for it, go camp on the new camping grounds "SkyView" or the original places. Regardless, go check out the views once, the words like "serene" and "tranquil" comes to mind.
You can also see many interesting animal tracks, raccoons and some others that I couldn't identify but still felt very good to at least feel as if I was a part of the nature, not the urban city hell we live in, even if for a moment.
