Manning Park can be described in 1 Word:- Beautiful!

It's a nice drive from Vancouver. Approximately 2 1/2 Hours to get to Flash, Lightning and Thunder Lake.

The Trail around the 3 Lakes is very nice. Not too much of an Elevation Gain but that is not what you're there for. You're there to see the Trees, Green Waters and Trout, swimming around, slapping themselves upon the waters.

It takes about 3 hours to complete the entire circuit and ideal for All Ages.

There is plenty of fresh water coming down from the Mountain in early June.

There are, of course, longer trails to take.

Lightning Lake is absolutely stunning with its breathtaking mountain views. We spent the whole day there with friends and had no parking worries—there’s a large parking area that’s free of charge. The washrooms are well maintained, which is a big plus. You’ll love the beautiful scenery of the lake and surrounding mountains, and there are plenty of activities to enjoy, including swimming, kayaking, boating, and trails that connect around the lake. Also, don’t forget to download your offline maps before heading there—it’s a big help, especially for...

A bit mucky in low areas. Plenty of opportunity to stop along the way, with a few picnic tables. We managed to steer off the main trail, and ended up doing a longer (unplanned) route, through the group campsites (which looked awesome). All in all, a great walk for...
