Its a clean property. We are very concerned they do not have the proper shade for the majority of the animals. In the heat of summer (now) many of the animals were fighting eachother for small morcels of shade under anything. There are no shade giving trees and animals do not mix with eachother - so they fight eachother for the space periodically. The donkeys were rolling in dirt and were trying to kick sheep out of the way of shade on a 25 degree day. Our MAJOR concern is there are 8+ newborn goats that are in the blazing heat with no shade. It really felt awful and the baby goats were lethargic. We really hope they build anything at all or plant some proper trees so they have some respite in the hot months.

This was by far the best interactive barnyard (petting zoo) we have ever been too. The usual critters goats, sheep and donkeys (love the burros!) but there was some baby bunnies, chicks, lambs, kids, some huge floppy eared rabbits, ponies and piglets! All critters were super friendly and enjoyed a scratch behind the ears. The goats and kids were awesome. If you have wee ones or just enjoy animals spend a couple hours here and you'll leave with a smile on your face. Oh the honey and blueberry jam we bought is delicious as well. Thanks Yellow Point Farm, we will visit again!

Visited the farm and store with my best friends little ones and we loved it! We stayed for quite awhile because you can actually hold the little baby goats and sheep and there is lots of animals to see. I loved this pig lol I believe it’s a Kune Kune pig. Looks like a teddy bear. The store was really nice too. Bought some local meat and some honey. The owners and farmhands were all very friendly. Can’t wait to go back!!

We go to a lot of farms and petting zoos in different citites so I have a lot of experience with prices and features.

This farm in general is okay. If you're around the area and don't mind the expense then it can be a fairly good experience. At the time of this review every person over a year old costs $12 so that adds up if you have a couple kids. It would be nice if they had a family package or something. In our case we kept one parent outside to save on costs which isn't ideal.

They have a rule not to feed the animals. That's too bad. Many places we go have food we can buy to feed to the animals. Our kids love that experience.

The washrooms consist of a single portapotty outside. It's reasonably clean but it's still a portapotty and unpleasant to use.

No wifi and the seating is outside so it can get a bit cold if you're waiting.

The staff was alright, not what I would call friendly but also not rude. Maybe because it was our first time?

Overall I wouldn't recommend it to my friends but if you don't mind the big expense for a basic petting zoo experience then I'd suggest coming on a warm day!

Also the owner seems quite defensive to any review less than five stars I'd encourage taking the feedback gracefully and using that to make improvements. I didn't see anyone reviewing...

It’s an OK place, wish it was less pricey. $12 per adult/kid(free upto 12 months old) Kids will still have fun anywhere they go, they had a good time petting and brushing them that all mattered to me anyways. —————————————————————————— Sorry, re the coffee price, you are right for the price $3.

You don’t seem very welcome at all on feedbacks though unless it’s 5 star reviews, I thought I put it pretty moderately with 3 stars. My review for your place is very honest after experiencing more than 10 different petting zoo/ animal farms in lower mainland and we often do revisiting them. With the same price, I would expect more various animals, and attractions to get entertained from what I see at other local farms. Maybe you are quite new to this, and you can improve it slowly only if you want or ever care customers, as well. I also got some veggies and honey products to support the local business, too. I was not upset at all until I saw your such ridiculous response. Your sarcasm about the McDonald’s thing was jaw-dropping.

I lowered two stars after your very offensive response. Good luck!

PS- would recommend Beacon Hill for petting zoo in Victoria than here as recommended strongly from...
