No showers or running water to wash hands, but there is a hand pump with potable water at the entrance to the park. The brand new playground is amazing - recommended for ages 5-12 with a toddler rocking toy for 2-12. It kept my 6 and 9 year old well-entertainrd. The pit toilets were freshly emptied for September long weekend and came equipped with air freshners and hand sanitizer. All sites covered in gravel/rocks, good flat grade and easy to hammer in stakes. Picnic tables are also kept freshly painted. The Wilson Creek can be heard throughout the park when it's quiet (most of the time). Some sites are right by the rushing water. Close to mountain bike and hiking trails - able to walk to the Galena Trail entrance in 10-15 minutes (does involve crossing a highway). It was a very pleasant stay and I think we'll be back again!

The campground is located on the edge of Wilson Creek and just a couple of kms outside of New Denver which is one of the funkiest little towns in BC. Unlike the municiple campground in New Denver, which admittedly has services and is lakefront, Rosebery PP has bigger spaces and much more privacy. It's a great launchpad for the spectacular CPR bike trails that lead north and south out of Rosebery. The condition of the trail heading north to Summit lake dwindled after about 15 km but was well worth it along the early portion which ran along the eastern shore of Slocan lake. I'll make a point of returning to ride the route south which is known as The Galena Trail which looks much more developed. You can't go wrong with the location though, it's just beautiful!!

First time staying in the park, but have driven through previously. Pleasantly surprised to see the park has had substantial upgrades this spring. New toilets, new playground, all sites resurfaced and many enlarged. It looks terrific and the kids loved their stay. Had a bear come through mid week when occupancy was low. Definitely heed the warnings from the outstanding parks staff and keep a clean campsite.

Stayed at this campground the last two years. First time through, we planned to stay a night but didn't leave for a week. The couple that runs the campground are very friendly and do a fantastic job. Everything is kept very clean. Bins of firewood are available for $7. Nice river running alongside the campground. And enough distance between you and your neighbours to have assume privacy. New Denver is only a few minutes away by car ....or a quick bike ride alongside...
