Lakeboat Vineyard & Winery — Attraction in Area I (Skaha West/Kaleden/Apex)

I recently visited Lakeboat and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the beauty of the vineyard and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive, adding a special touch to the visit. The wines themselves were truly outstanding and a showcase of craftsmanship, with rich, complex flavors that lingered long after the last sip. My personal favorite was the Merlot! The tasting room is beautifully designed, and the outdoor picnic area is a serene spot that makes you want to linger and savor the moment.

I was introduced to this winery thanks to our wine tour operator, Nicole of Unique Blend South Okanagan Tours. I was impressed by the attractive and inviting space. Elan hosted us for our wine tasting, and was very easy to talk to and knowledgeable about the wines. They offer two different tasting experiences - the Lakeboat tasting, and the Wine Umbrella tasting which has a charitable component to it (very cool). We’ve been to the Okanagan many times, but this was our first excursion to the Kaleden area. Lakeboat was a great find! Jamie was very knowledgeable about the wines, and a pleasure to chat with. He led us through a tasting that included both Lakeboat wines, and “the wine umbrella” collection. Currently enjoying the “Fleur” - very flavorful white wine blend.
