Love this hiking trail loop. Leave yourself plenty of time to do the whole trail. There is so much to see. We went in May and it was hailing and snowing but so many wildflowers were in bloom. Saw some turtles, a beaver, and lots of ducks. Not a suitable walking trail for a stroller or anyone with mobility issues.

Very well travelled trail - a bit hard to tell it's there unless you pull into the Rest Area at the top of Bombi Pass about 5 minutes before Castlegar. Generally, as long as it hasn't been too wet - no poles or special boots required. Bug spray essential though!

A really nice, relatively easy hike. Lots of places to stop and rest. Beautiful viewpoints. Don't forget to pack water, some bug repellant, and some bear safe gear.

Fantastic spot to stop and stretch. Great view of Castlegar and valley below. Put this place on your bucket list of places to stop and view. Thanks to Mel Deanna and many other for having the foresight to designate this spot for a jump point to the trail.Check out the accompanying website...
