Kentucky Lake — Attraction in Area N (Beautiful Nicola Valley - South)

Kentucky lake is definately a place to visit for a swim or kayak/ paddle?board outing. Easy to put your float in. No lower parking right by the lake so if you have a couple if kayaks drive right down and then take your car up to park. Beautiful lake. No shops to purchase anything there so take what yiu need and enjoy. Beautiful turquoise-coloured lake in Thompson-Nicola area! Warm water and sandy shore makes it easy to get into the water and swim. You can also hike around the lake for 5.5k (easy flat walk takes about 1hr) There are several decent view points.

There are very limited day use parking spots and most likely you need to park along the street and walk through the campsite to get to the lake. About an hour drive...
