Arisaig lighthouse is great for an enjoyable afternoon with the kids or just to visit with friends or family. Watch the beautiful east coast ocean from the comfort of your own vehicle or take a basket of yummy foods for the picnic table, go for a walk on the beach (i have difficulties getting down there myself but i have knee issues). Sit over the side of the dock and watch the waves if thats what you enjoy. Overall Arisaig wharf is a great place especially during the summer months. It is a location that sells ice cream, not to take away from the operator of this establishment, but a lighthouse for someone visiting Nova Scotia would be a place of interest for what it represents and maybe have some information about the history of the structure and a view of its once operation.
