Dinosaur Park Adventure: A Dino-mite Day Out If you're a dinosaur enthusiast or have a little one who's obsessed with prehistoric creatures, Canada's Dinosaur Park is a must-visit. We recently took our two boys for a day of roaring fun and were not disappointed. The park boasts an impressive collection of over 100 dinosaurs, from towering Tyrannosaurus Rexes to tiny Triceratops. The life-sized replicas are incredibly detailed, making it feel like you've stepped back in time. We spent hours exploring the park, marveling at the sheer size and diversity of these ancient creatures. Beyond the dinosaurs, the park also offers exhibits featuring reptiles, alligators, and crocodiles. It's a fantastic opportunity to see these fascinating creatures up close and learn about their unique adaptations. We opted for the detailed dinosaur walk-through, which included the reptile exhibit. It was a great way to experience the park at a leisurely pace and get a closer look at the dinosaurs. The drive-in option is also a great choice for those who prefer a more relaxed experience. However, we found the walk-through to be more immersive and enjoyable. Overall, our day at Canada's Dinosaur Park was an unforgettable adventure. The park is well-maintained, and the staff aren't that friendly :( But the rest of the exhibits are decent. If you're looking for a fun and educational outing for the whole family, this is definitely the place to go.

I took my 4 and 6 year old and their friends, to Dinosaur park yesterday. It’s about a 90 minute drive East of Toronto, located in the Peterborough area. Overall, my kids really enjoyed themselves. The dinosaurs were pretty awesome and some of them moved and made sounds, which was a crowd pleaser. It takes about 15-20mins to drive through, if you go slowly. There’s an area to buy food and mini golf but we skipped that stuff. It would have been better if they had music playing throughout the park. I ended up playing the Jurassic park soundtrack while I was driving through and it made the experience 1000x better for everyone in the vehicle! Haha Some of the dinosaurs looked worn down (even though they’re a million years old) and the grounds could be better maintained. The dinosaur signage were also pretty plain and blah. Just felt that the park could do so much more to make it engaging and give people a reason to visit more than once. It’s a long drive out of the city, so making it memorable is key for repeat business. I think it falls short in that regard. But I’m glad we did it… once.

Toronto currently has limited dinosaur attractions. There’s Dino Kingdom in Scarborough and Dino Alive in downtown Toronto. Dino Kingdom in Scarborough is free, but being inside a mall, it lacks an immersive atmosphere. Dino Alive downtown has a better atmosphere, but it’s often overcrowded and overpriced. For the best value, I’d recommend this place. The dinosaur figures look like they could be from old movie sets and aren’t even barricaded, which surprised us, as we wouldn’t expect this level of access in the city. The kids, however, had a blast. We didn’t opt for the drive-through and chose to walk instead. If you have a convertible, it’s highly recommended. Despite being the weekend, it wasn’t too crowded, which was nice. The kids enjoyed digging for dinosaur bones and playing in the sand area. However, the "crocodile walk" was a bit misleading; it’s just a sidewalk from which you can view a crocodile or alligator enclosure from afar. For a more hands-on reptile experience, I’d suggest visiting Reptilia. Overall, we spent about an hour here. Recommended if you're in the area.

I wasn’t able to take kids out due to COVID-19. Then I saw the ad for Dinosaur Park. It is around 160kms from Toronto, and you reach there in under 2 hours. The whole dinosaur area is the drive-through. Keeping in mind that we went on a weekend, it was not too busy. Visitors are asked to stay in their cars at all times and keep driving. The park itself is not too big but just enough to keep the kids entertained. Dinosaurs models look very real. They blink their eyes, move their mouths and other body parts. One is even eating a small dinosaur. Remember to open car windows as the park has sound effects too. We missed a piece of sound effects as we didn’t know that. Charges are nominal and are charged per vehicle and not per visitor. Booking can be made online. The food truck was also open there, but we weren’t comfortable eating outside yet. Overall a lovely experience to get a feel of Jurassic Park movies on a smaller scale.

We thank you in advance for encouraging us by liking our pages: YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. 💙💙💚💚 We need you!!!! We did the dinosaur park as well as the reptile sanctuary at Canada's Dinosaur Park 🦕🦖🐢🐊 First and foremost, dogs on leads are welcome so this makes a great place to take a break for the whole family. 🐩🐕🦮🐕🦺 The fact that it's the only registered non-profit reptile sanctuary in Canada and at the same time you can see dinosaurs in motion, it's just awe-inspiring. We've seen a dinosaur park before but never this big. It was really captivating. You can experience it by car. We did it in the walking park and loved it. There is also a mini putt as well as picnic tables for eating. Very nice experience and for sure we will go back 😍😍😍. There is a wonderful shop where you can encourage the shrine by buying souvenirs. 🐊🦕🦖

I took my almost 8 and almost 5 year old as well as my 4 month old sons today. We spent about 2 hours there and had a blast. I read the reviews and already saw they’re working on adding more bathrooms which is amazing. The animatronic dinosaurs are probably some of the coolest I’ve ever seen, there’s some cool fossils and bones as well. There wasn’t as many reptiles as I was expecting, but the range of snakes is amazing - they’re gorgeous! There’s staff pretty much everywhere you look and they were unbelievably friendly and super hands on with my kids. One of the people working offered to take us and show us a couple of animals and told us a bit about them. It was a blast and affordable too! Which is a GIANT bonus. We’ll definitely come back again!
