Absolutely loved it here. We saw minke and beluga whales and seals. There was no admission fee as we visited in the off season and the actual visitors' centre was unfortunately closed. Information boards are dotted about along the boardwalks. They had the red Ariondack chairs which we spent quite some time in soaking up the views and peace and quiet, so quiet that we could hear the whales blowing out air before we saw them. Beautiful day, thank you Parcs Canada. We arrived as foot passengers from Tadoussac, short walk up the hill to the observation centre is a bit hair-raising as it is a narrow footpath right next to the lanes leading down to the ferry and cars and lorries come hurtling down within...

Yes, a lovely spot, but it doesn't feel authentic with picnic spots and a path you need to follow. Wouldn't recommend paying $6, which is a lot of money for just a lookout point. We came at the end of the day, when the entrance is free of charge and all staff went home.

But honestly, take the ferry (free of charge) to Tadoussac and exactly on the other side, across the waters, there's a free of charge look out point. There's a lovely boardwalk with possibilities to walk on the rocks. It's way better and free of charge. It's more adventurous, a larger walk and way more authentic...

I have been to this place twice. The first time many years ago was a sunny afternoon, and we could see at any time a dozen belugas popping out at the mouth of the fjord. More recently, it was a cloudy and windy afternoon, and we did not see whales. The spot is beautiful regardless, and a very nice Observation Center has been built since we first visited. Parking may be a challenge during busy hours in summer. A must stop before crossing the Saguenay Fjord on ferry, and a worthwhile trip if visiting...

Nice observation center with indoor exhibits and outdoor sites to observe beluga whales and other creatures. We saw a couple belugas though not as close as the other two Park Canada sites north of Tadoussac. The employees were helpful, especially the one who first greeted us at the front station. She informed us about the other two sites, which had calmer water that made seeing whales easier. Parking can be difficult, but it's worth stopping here on the way to Tadoussac.

We drove past the unassuming entrance at least 10 times before we thought we should stop and have a look. It was AMAZING. The layout is great, lots of information, lots of places to just chill and enjoy the scenery and plenty of places to spot belugas. The guides were helpful in both French and English in explaining everything. If you're in the area this is a must visit attraction
