Fabulous park. We really enjoy our time here. The day-use park is just outside of Tatamagouche on Tatamagouche Bay. We used the park facilities at one of their great picnic shelters with barbecue. There were many families there with kids at the playground. One of the things that surprised us the most was how floral the gardens were. They even had accessible washrooms which was great for our mother who is in a wheelchair. The view of the ocean was fantastic as the park leads right onto the beach. There is a fenced area for dogs to play off-leash. There is a 1.5 km walking path in the park as well, and it is also connected to the 26-km Butter Trail (part of The Great Trail) which passes through the park on the former route of the Short Line Railway. We love cycling on it starting at the park year-round.

Lovely place to stop and view the water and gardens. There is a great picnic and BBQ area to use. Even has a place for you dog to run off leash.

What a beautiful park. Just off the highway with lots of room for a picnic. Dog park and trail along the ocean.

A beautiful park with wonderful amenities (and from the looks of it, with more on the way) and great waterfront views. We came by for a picnic as we have done in the past but within seconds of getting to a picnic shelter, were both covered in mosquitos. This was in August and I have not experienced mosquitos this bad very often. Unfortunately we didn't have bug spray with us so we ended up dining in our car. I wouldn't fault the park for this inconvenience, however, so still 5 stars! But do bring...

Lovely park. Beautiful flowers down by the water. The Trans Canada trail runs through it by the water. You can walk the trail into the village of Tatamagouche if you like. Children's play ground area. Enclosed dog park area. Picnic tables with barbeques....
