Booked 4 days overnight at this park, loved it! Site 5. Bugs were typical for the Territories, no running water in the washrooms, all electric sites, super easy to back a trailer into, spacious dining and campfire area! Super level pads, not a lot of trees for hammocks. A bison was right outside the gate upon our arrival, and you could see hoof prints inside the park. You can hear the highway noise from any site, but transports are pretty infrequent - so it doesn’t take away from the visit! The sites aren’t super far apart, and privacy is hit and miss, but folks were respectful in their own noise levels. Playground and pavilion are being built currently, canteen and local crafts at the gatehouse. Waterview from some sites, but establish beach only at day use. Easy trip out from Yellowknife - we will come here again before the season is over!

I believe this received an upgrade recently. I passed through here with a transport of steel and stopped for the night. Turned out to be fantastic. Quiet, clean. Went online in AM to get license and did some fishing. This was in the fall afyer Covid19 summer and this place is still pretty clean. New bathrooms on north end. Pics attached.

This is a beautiful park with plenty of day use facilities, picnic tables, trash bins, large picnic shelter, and toilets. This park needs more staff visits to keep up on the like Strewn about the place. It also needs a one kilometer warning sign when approaching from the south.
