A friend and I decided to go for a walk and meet 1/2 way between where we both live. Rundle Park was the destination that we chose and boy was it ever a good decision. We ended up walking for a couple of hours, it was so beautiful. Walking across the bridge and looking down to the river. We saw people fishing off of the bank . Observed a variety of different birds on the bank and in the trees. If you like to take pictures, there is a lot of great pictures and foliage/ berries that are in the park. There was a wonderful paved path along with many little trails you could go off onto if you wanted to. Some taking you down to the river. There was many people in the park walking, talking and playing some kind of frisbee golf game. Most importantly we felt safe and there was enough room to feel so. We spent more time in the parking lot chatting once we got back to our vehicles. The parking lot was well lit and again we felt safe there. I would definitely go back again and surprised that I haven't been there previously. I would also wear some better walking shoes as it would have been nice to go off the beaten path a little more than we did. Do yourself a favor and take a walk in Rundle Park. Get some fresh air and feel at peace with nature .......
