A friend and I decided to go for a walk and meet 1/2 way between where we both live. Rundle Park was the destination that we chose and boy was it ever a good decision. We ended up walking for a couple of hours, it was so beautiful. Walking across the bridge and looking down to the river. We saw people fishing off of the bank . Observed a variety of different birds on the bank and in the trees. If you like to take pictures, there is a lot of great pictures and foliage/ berries that are in the park. There was a wonderful paved path along with many little trails you could go off onto if you wanted to. Some taking you down to the river. There was many people in the park walking, talking and playing some kind of frisbee golf game. Most importantly we felt safe and there was enough room to feel so. We spent more time in the parking lot chatting once we got back to our vehicles. The parking lot was well lit and again we felt safe there. I would definitely go back again and surprised that I haven't been there previously. I would also wear some better walking shoes as it would have been nice to go off the beaten path a little more than we did. Do yourself a favor and take a walk in Rundle Park. Get some fresh air and feel at peace with nature .......

Rundle Park is one of Edmonton’s most scenic and versatile recreational spaces. Nestled along the North Saskatchewan River, it offers a peaceful escape from the city with stunning views, lush green spaces, and a wide range of amenities. The park is ideal for families, couples, and solo visitors alike, with something to enjoy in every season.

In the summer, the park comes alive with people walking, cycling, or rollerblading along the extensive trails. The man-made pond is great for paddle boating, and there are picnic areas and playgrounds that are perfect for kids. Rundle Park also features an 18-hole disc golf course, tennis courts, and soccer fields, making it a hub for sports enthusiasts.

Winter transforms the park into a snowy wonderland. The toboggan hill is popular with families, and the well-maintained skating rink is a great spot for a classic Canadian winter experience.

One of the standout aspects of Rundle Park is how well it is maintained. Clean facilities, accessible washrooms, and ample parking make it easy to spend an entire day there. Whether you're seeking relaxation or activity, Rundle Park is a beautiful, welcoming space that showcases the best of Edmonton's...

This is a fantastic park which is quite large and very pretty, following the curves of the North Saskatchewan River with a lower dirt trail which is closest to the river bank and another trail fully paved which connects to other parks via the paved trail and a couple foot bridges which brings you to the South side of the river with more paved and dirt trails bringing you to gold bar park or the science park and ski hill.the possibilities are endless for activities there. It also has a recreational center there as well I have seen all kinds of wildlife there including coyotes and rabbits and many species of birds there is also tons of parking all over the place I would consider this to be an everyone friendly park with many adjoining parks you could definitely bring a wheelchair on paved trail it is a park which feels like you are out of the city while still being in the city so don't forget to bring your camera and sense...

I have been going to Rundle park for at least 8 years and I love it. I have ran hundreds of kilometers over the years in the park and there is so many combinations of trails you could do you will never run out. There is also awesome picnic shelters you can reserve for the summer. We went to a friends birthday party just the other day that was held at one and it made for an awesome party outdoors in nature. There is also great skating in the winter and also great tobogganing and cross country skiing. It’s an amazing park all year around and it’s not too busy at all. Highly recommend!

Rundle Park is one of Edmonton’s best parks for families and outdoor activities. It’s spacious with plenty of walking and biking trails that are well-kept and scenic. There are ponds, picnic areas, playgrounds, and wide open spaces for sports or just relaxing. In winter, it transforms with cross-country skiing and tobogganing hills, so it’s truly a year-round destination. The park is well-designed with lots of amenities like washrooms and parking, yet it still feels close to nature. It’s a beautiful escape within the city, and perfect for spending a full day outside.
