Dalem Lake Provincial Park — Attraction in Big Bras d'Or

I recently visited Dalem Lake and had a great time enjoying the swimming in fresh, clean water with the beautiful sandy beach. The natural surroundings were peaceful and ideal for a relaxing day out. However, one downside was the presence of dog poop left behind by someone, which was unfortunate and detracted from the otherwise pristine environment. I hope visitors will be more responsible in the future to keep this lovely spot clean...

I grew up here and it makes me sick to see the outsiders coming in to swim and leaving garbage. Yesterday the beach was packed, this morning on my walk I took these photos of the garbage left behind by the disgusting beach goers yesterday. Beautiful little park tucked away from the highway. There is a nice beach but it is small and can get busy on a hot summer day. I’d recommend getting there early to get a good spot.
