Boisé des lacs Fauvel — Attraction in Blainville

First time visiting today and I loved the experience! There was a porta-potty at the parking area.

The parking lot is SMALL!! Like, can fit 10 cars, but you can park on the road, I guess.

Very easy-to-walk and well-maintained trail. Dogs are allowed! There's a few pic-nic table areas and other areas that lead down to the water.

The telescope thing was great; I sighted a heron right away. There were supposed to be 2 areas with telescope things, but the device was missing from the second area. :D

I heard birds chirping/singing most of the time. Excellent place to get away from the city from within the city. Lots of ducks to observe as well.

Fine little walk, not wild at all, just an old industrial site turned into a nature place. It could be so much better. Fine for a quick walk but don't go out of your way to go here. Dogs...

Ce boisée de 3.5 km est intéressant pour le vélo, la marche, photographie et ornithologie. Construit sur une ancienne carrière, la ville de Blainville aurait intérêt à assurer un suivi sur les nombreuses plantations faites en 2017. Les petits arbres ont peine à sortir à de nombreux endroits. Les tuteurs sont parfois brisés ou les arbrisseaux sont prisonniers du filet protecteur qui les entoure, ou de nombreux plastiques noirs traînent un peu partout sans...
