This place is always clean and well taken care of. It is serene, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Whether you are cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, boating, picnicking, stargazing, or just need to get away from it all for a bit, this is the place to do it. Miles and miles of pine needle trails lined with warm sandy beaches and flat rocks perfect for relaxing on a hot day, this place is like a spa for your soul. See unique and interesting animals and critters. Read up about the local history. Take a book and unwind. Whatever you end up doing you will surely leave this place feeling 10 pounds lighter in your soul. Please remember this is a nature reserve. Respect the ecosystem so that it is there for many generations to come. Take nothing but pictures leave nothing but footprints!

Nice shoreline hiking through the sand or pine forest. Trails are well maintained. Awesome views of the North Channel, lots of birds to watch. There's a boat launch by one of the trailheads. The water is chilly but nice and clean to swim in. Lots of sandy beach, some rocky shore areas too so it's good to have water shoes or hiking sandals.

I’ve hiked this trail twice. It’s great fun and the coastal areas are stunning. It’s a fab way to discover the area. Went back and kayaked and fished the river head after seeing it all on the trail. Such a well done trail. Saw two Saw Whet Owls 🦉
