Went at 4pm as people were leaving. Ocean was about 20C yesterday. A bit of seaweed on edge but nice sandbar. A little bit of waves but my dog was happy swimming. Mood was friendly and relaxed. Dogs swim and then respectful owners just leash their dog as they sit and relax on their blankets. The walk from the parking lot was only like 12 mins so not a big deal 😂. Two paths to access the beach through the dunes. We went down to the right (left is for the nude beach). Mosquitos in parking lot area (that is by a swampy area) near dusk but no issue on beach. Only a 20 mins drive from Stanhope campground so totally worth it. #Happydog...

Blooming Point Beach in PEI is an absolute gem — I only wish we had discovered it sooner! This beach is not only stunning, with its wide open shoreline and soft sand, but also incredibly peaceful and welcoming. It’s dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us, and there’s plenty of space so you never feel crowded or too close to others. Parking was simple and stress-free, and it’s just a short, easy walk down a quiet road to reach the beach access. A perfect spot for a relaxing day by the water — we’ll definitely be...

Such a beautiful, secluded beach with a variety of lobsters, crabs, jellyfish, and much more. You can find beautiful shells scattered along the shore. The water is shallow near the shore, perfect for little ones, and gradually gets deeper as you advance

It is ideal for paddling and water sport

Sadly, it requires a 5-10 minute walk from the parking area to the beach, but the effort is well worth it. As a reward for your day, you'll be treated to a breathtaking sunset that perfectly caps off...
