I like it very much, it is sparsely populated, and I watched the sunrise and maple leaves there. But I went there again in March this year, and the snow in the city almost melted, but after I got there, the snow was still nearly 10cm. Unfortunately, our car was stuck in the snow. I can't believe I was rescuing my car at 5 am. I didn't go to the top of the mountain at that time because the snow was too thick. At that time, it didn't show that it was closed. Then I went there again in June, showing that was closed. When I arrived, I found that some floors on the third platform of the wooden tower had fallen off, and the entrance to each floor was sealed. It was really a pity, because autumn was coming soon, and I didn't want to lose this great viewing platform.

Mount Morrissette, Blue Sea Lake, fire tower is a great location for photography and hiking just north of Gatineau and Ottawa. Taken September 28, 2021.

Wonderful views from the Fire Tower - glistening lakes and greenery stretching 50+ kms to the horizon.

Beautiful paths and sights. Going up the tower is fun and scary. Especially when you look across at the other metal tower (not for tourists) and picture yourself in it, now that's scary. Worth while to go. Bring a lunch as there are a few good areas to...

Closed. 11am on a sunny sunday in june 2025 and it's closed. Nobody around, no sign, no explanation, no dates. Old skinny metal tower has only a roof access we can't reach; regular wood...
