Incredible. When we showed up for our 6pm slot, we were greeted by I believe the manager or owner. She showed us around and informed us of all the amenities. Was a very nice personal touch. We were lucky enough to see that there was only a handful of people there the entire night! It's smaller than some of the nordic spas I've been to but has everything you want and need. But what the other ones don't have, this one does. The nature. You are literally in the woods next to a flowing river and waterfall. We didn't get to eat this time but definitely looking forward to it next time. The lockers are old school and the key sometimes gets stuck in the lock. You get one towel in your locker but can rent a super soft robe. Only thing I'm hoping they fix is the sound of the steam machine in the wet sauna. It makes a really loud bang when it turns on and a smaller bang when it turns off. When you're trying to relax, it really was shocking to hear. Everything is incredibly clean, a nice gentleman kept adding wood to the fire because he knew we lover it. The relaxing area with the terrasse is stunning! Thank you for an amazing time! Will definitely be back!

What a wonderful place! This was our first visit to Spa Bolton, and when I say this is a gem, I'm not exaggerating! It is located in Bolton, a small village, and you can say you're in the middle of nature. We started our day with a massage duo with my spouse, which was a Swedish massage for me and a deeper tissue massage for my hubby. This was so relaxing, and the massage therapists were really good! The first thing we did after the massage was to take a nice hot sauna in the main building, the "Kuivasauna" which literally means "Dry sauna" in Finnish (picture). And to my surprise, it was a REAL Finnish sauna with a Harvia heater on which you are allowed to throw water. This is somehow forbidden in some other spas in Quebec... Then we bolted for a short dip in the ice-cold river. From there, the day went on, trying their different saunas and pools, re-dipping ourselves in the river a few times, and just relaxing outside or in the relaxing areas offered. We spent altogether 4 hours here, and afterwards we felt relaxed, happy and completely drained, positively speaking!

We have visited Spa Bolton for the past two years during our ski trips to the Eastern Townships. Both visits have been amazing, absolutely no complaints! Our group loved the Eucalyptus steam room and the various saunas. They have a unique natural river cold plunge which we all enjoyed as well. The woodstove heated yurt was the perfect place to relax or read a book. The entire spa grounds are clean, quiet and relaxing....a great way to spend our day off from skiing. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. We did not partake in any massages or food/drink items so I cannot comment on those things. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Spa Bolton and will definitely be back in the future!

First of all I want to say that I did enjoy myself. My issues were related to logistic and arrangements.

Pros: great bath, great outdoors, nothing is too close or too far from one another the relaxation areas are well made.

Anything I did once I reached the base area was great and relaxing which is kind of the point. Note that for the cons the site was overcrowded and it might have affected the experience.

Cons: the Bistro area is so small and unnecessary its a waste of space. Due to overcrowding all male were put into a line to wait for others to leave the site prior to us getting in, that's a 45min I'll never get back. There were 2 waiting lines, the regular one and the male one waiting for entry. Since the entrance is badly designed we were cramped in the corridor leading to the changing room and really in the way of anyone honestly... Staff, women and men literally everyone is going through this place... There is a lady with big bags of whatever she had 6-8 big bags on hand every 15-30 min and running through the corridor through both lines to go behind the welcome counter... Poor woman not only she's stuck with all those massive bags we were all in her way. The area she had to go is literally cutting in front of everyone all the time and she looked pressed for time the whole time...

We had loads of fun and only when leaving did we get told that there was like a dozen extra activities you could reach by following trails behind other activity and the like.. Please I don't know put a map outside.. A big walled thing or a printout so that non-regular can see the other things there is to do. Honestly everytime I was outside the bathing / relaxing area it was either logistic or design issues that jumped at me so hard I hated being out of...

It's a very nice location and honestly nice to look at. But the quality of the spa seems to have deteriorated into he last year or so. This was not my first time here and it's usually very relaxing. This time was a little different. For more one the facilities were quite dirty. The yurt seems to have not been swept and there were flies all over, landing on you every two minutes. Another thing is that there is some man that's dressed like a grounds keeper with black sunglasses that walks around staring at everyone. It was quite unnerving, especially in a place where everyone is wearing swim suits and bikini's. He is also some sort of enforcer? My wife and I were relaxing alone in a hot tub (which was also practically filled with dead flies) with my wife's leg hanging over mine in the pool. The man came and yelled at us about my wife's leg being on top of mine instead of next to it. Can you imagine paying over 100$ to get yelled at, especially over something so trivial? Obviously couldn't relax after that. Then to make things worse the man went to the back and seemed to have turned off the hot tub, since the water died down suddenly and the button to start the jets again all of a sudden didn't function, forcing us to get out. I see other posts about the same man and it's clear they don't seem to have rectified the situation, so i don't expect anything to change. I clearly won't be returning as I can just go to balnea spa a couple of minutes away and avoid these issues but I am quite disappointed because we used to...

Had a lovely experience at Spa Bolton with my husband and our friends. We all booked separate messages throughout the afternoon and enjoyed the grounds. The atmosphere is extremely relaxing - essentially silent with constant spa music playing!

I received a prenatal massage and it was truly something special. It was a little overpriced for what I am used to, but worth the cost for a once-a-year treat.

The grounds are lovely, although we didn't get any explanation of what they were or a tour. The heated pool was a bit too cold for us, so we dipped into a hot tub but didn't stay long as it was a bit crowded. The highlight for me was the yurt with zero gravity chairs. It was the epitome of relaxation in there! The saunas and steam room are great too.

Not much of a food selection - everything seemed to be vegan which I enjoy but the other guests in my party were displeased. They didn't get anything but I enjoyed a pre-packaged vegan gyro!

When booking, we were all told access to the grounds was included with a massage (different than what is listed on the website) but when we arrived we were all charged an additional fee for use of the other amenities. Not a huge deal, but something to be aware of.

Overall, we had a lovely experience...
