Worth a visit to see the view and learn a bit about how people and cargo got to the island before the bridge was built.

Lovely open area at the island end of the Confederation Bridge. It’s kept well groomed and free of litter by the maintenance crew who are friendly and will to answer questions about the park and the area in general.

Can get crowded if there is a cruise ship in Charlottetown. I was there when three busses arrived at nearly the same time and disgorged their loads. The bathrooms are open during the day (hours are posted) and...

Another long time immigration blogger who made PEI his home recommended this spot for us stop by for pictures before lunch.

I thought I would get to “see” the bridge while driving over from NS but we found out the Confederation Bridge is so straight that you can’t really see much while on it! I am glad I know a local who can tell us these hidden gems in town.

We visited in May before everything reopens for tourists so it is not busy at all. It can get quite windy so you may want to add another layer of clothes before stepping out...

Right of the confederation bridge you come across one of the magnificent views of Prince Edward Island. Every visitor who comes in PEI must take a stop to this park. It has a great view of confederation bridge and the PEI harbor. The wind and breeze makes it more cheerful entry point. The park has wonderful parking and can accommodate any rush time.
