It’s a beautiful beach on the river. Admission is $7 per adult. The park will give you a yellow wrist band upon paying. There are life guards on duty and the water is shallow. It’s a perfect fun place for families. Bring your kayaks and canoes. You can launch them at the entrance of the beach away from the swimmers. Parking is a nightmare. Half of the visitors are parking on both sides of the street illegally. I’m not sure if the traffic police will write parking tickets. I saw them but I didn’t...

love this place - it's where the locals hang out and we really felt like locals there. Prefer the less touristic areas!!! Also bring an umbrella or tent - you need it!!! The sun is strong and it's completely open - you pay $7 / person but it's a nice river - not too shallow.
