Such a lovely museum. The entrance is incredible. The collection is impressive and a great insight into Nisag'a culture and history. Make sure you take advantage of the guided tour. Try and get there at least an hour before they close so you can get the tour and have some time on your own. Everyone working there was lovely and knowledgeable! Thanks for having us.

Our second visit to this excellent collection housed in a beautiful building. Last year we had a very good tour guided by Clarence. This year we were there when staffing was low and no tours available. Although well worth the visit, a guided visit is preferable for the insights and information that it provides visitors.

It was a beautiful introduction of the hidden history of the Nisga'a people, survived through the early Canadian dictatorship. The rich historical customs of spiritual monarchy that lead the Nisga'a matriarchal and patriarchal was unlike any other history ever experienced

Very beautiful museum. The displays are so close & stunning, you’ll want to touch them (but don’t). Many of them are not behind glass so you can see them up close. There are invisible alarms to deter you from getting too close though. The reason I am only giving it 3 stars is there is no description or stories to help you understand the history. While it’s a lovely exhibit, I like to learn & it was unfortunate this museum did not meet my expectations. I took a picture of an item and had to ask the woman at the front desk what it was. She was so kind and helpful, and shared her knowledge, which I greatly appreciated...

This is an amazing facility with stunning exhibitions and totally amazing staff. As a former Education Department Manager for the Art Gallery of Alberta, I know what it takes to research, connect with and deliver an interpretive tour to the general public. The young woman who delivered our tour experience was engaging, thoughtful and made our learning experience quite memorable. As a resident and member of the nation upon which this Gallery stands, she imparted a sincerity and truth to her knowledge sharing that you simply wouldn't have in another...

Oh my, the wonderful people you meet running the museum are so gracious of their time and knowledge. We joined a group already learning of the peoples history and culture but missed the first part. Later, the lovely lady who led group, came to find us and introduced herself and asked if she could answer questions. The young girl greeting us and handling tickets and store was such a gem. Thanks museum team! ...
