One of the best wine estate experiences I have ever had. It was an abrupt stop that was not schedualed on our vacation. Needing to kill time before a wedding, we arrived and ended up receiving a private terroir lesson from an absolutely fine gentleman and representative of Jackson Triggs, Jim.
The lesson showcased some of the top wines on the Tiggs menu, highlighting how the different regions in the area affect the qualities and traits of the wine. Not only was this a great lesson, but Jim was just fantastic. It felt more like a few people sitting around a dinner table drinking and talking about wine, and at no point rushed or artificial.

But at JT it was immeasurably the best service received. So good that I overbought. The server (may I say her name?) Audrey. She was knowledgeable, encouraging, adviseable, and so pleasant. Her experience was mature. She urged me to sample a couple. We chatted for 10 minutes longer and in that time I bought a mixed case. ....Some wineries are so naive. The front of house is where you teach and sell. Audrey demonstrated...
