I came for the birds ..and I was NOT disappointed.so many different species of duck and songbirds. And a lot of them. I was extremely surprised to see 2 Sandhill cranes hangin' out with the rest of them. The only disappointment I had was the trail around the lake, for the most part, offers up a very boring view of train tracks on one side and scrub brush on the other (and this scrub brush goes around the entire perimeter of the lake). It is odd to me that there are no vantage points built in or cutout to allow people a view of the lake from every angle...not just the one walkway where everyone is crowded, feeding the ducks. Read moreIt’s not just a lake it’s more, it’s an evening and morning walk. It’s to get connected back to yourself. You can see common birds here , water as well tree birds. You also can spot some raptors like bald eagle, falcon etc. Sometimes you can see cranes or flight of cranes too. If want to get more connected with these little souls you can try to feed them on your Palm , look on my photos. But if you wanna do that I suggest you to wear clothing near to the color of nature and don’t wear flashy mask on face if you’re wearing one. You can sometimes see water sports. You can also see butterflies but in season at the nature park area.
Washroom ✅ mostly clean but only two.

I brought my camera with me and couldn’t even bring myself to take one shot. Gray, everything was gray and boring. If I ever go back, and I absolutely won’t, but if I do, which I won’t, I’ll bring a rake of cans and just go through them for a short cut to help...
