Read moreSuch a calm and peaceful place to be and most of all; FREE!! Plenty of parking space, some reserved only for those who are visiting the restaurant, but still, we found quite a few spots empty on a Sunday afternoon. There is a slide and some activity thing for little kids where they can spend all day playing while the adults do some bbq and enjoy a serene picnic. The track around is comfortable and not too steep. People with strollers and wheelchairs can easily go and enjoy. The small area/rose garden is amazing, with different kinds and colours of roses. The way they are kept and managed, along with having some benches in place, adds to lovely and beautiful memories, as one can have beautiful photos taken. We even saw a model who got a photoshoot done there in different outfits. There are different flat and slope areas where you can set up your picnic stuff. Plus, there are benches for doing the same too. We went on a Sunday, it was busy but not too crowded that ones picnic is destroyed. Accessible trash bins. Clean and tidy washrooms (2 seats, one for general and one for those with strollers or on wheelchairs) Did not see a nappy changing station in the restroom, so you will have to change your baby on your mat at your picnic spot. This wasn't really an issue for me, as I could easily take my baby to our van as the parking is not too far away either, but for some it is, so thought I should mention. There is a restaurant up there, with amazing views of the totems right in front with those of the city in the background. Did not try the menu but am planning to, soon. One can easily spend an entire day here, it is THAT refreshing and relaxing. Take a few portable outdoor games, you...
