Mattawa River Visitor Centre — Attraction in Calvin

I've worked here so perhaps I'm a little biased but there are honestly few spots I would rather spend an afternoon. I encourage you to ask as many questions as you want to the staff there. They're always looking for curious guests. Especially with kids, the staff can cater the experience for their interests and show them things that are of special interest to them without needing to sift through the larger volume of information.

Beautiful area, with friendly and informative staff. Gorgeous area and views this time of year. My only criticism is that the walking trails are very rocky with rocks mostly the size of motorcycle helmets littered shoulder to shoulder 90%of the trail. Makes it hard to enjoy the views when you are constantly looking down to prevent a twisted ankle. A bit of trail maintenance would go a long way to enhance...
