Great place to visit with your family. I frequent this place a lot (during the summer mostly) and it's always a great time. The fishing is nice, the camping grounds are easy to book (online), and the swimming is perfect. The lake isn't filled with algae for most of the summer.

Waskateena Beach is the best beach we visited in Saskatchewan so far. We enjoy it a lot! Very clean water and the sand is white and soft. Kids friendly because of the shallow waters. On the other hand, Sandy Bay campsite has too many big mosquitos!
