Great place for families with small children. Water is quite shallow quite a ways out from shore and the water is usually warmer(ish). Couple of decent parking lots as well as spots along the side of the road to park. Bathrooms are what you'd expect for a busy beach outhouse. Can be tolerable and other times can smell pretty bad so be prepared haha. Other than that, views are great, especially at sunset. Sand is pleasant and it hasn't been overly busy when I've been there. There's an alright playground for kids which is nice. Short drive from restaurants and ice cream. Nice spots with picnic tables and fire pits just off the beach. All around, great place to spend a sunny day at.

I’m from Alberta and this is by far one of the cleanest lakes I’ve ever seen. It’s beautiful out here! The water is perfect - it’s shallow for quite a way, but it does have dips in it. The way the waves move, it creates a really interesting sand floor. The sand bars are almost always different every time you come here. Most of the parking is on the main road, but it’s not a far walk at all. There is a good amount of space on the beach to set up. Lots of change rooms/outhouses as well. And there are BBQ pits!

One of the nicest beaches in Sask. White sand, the water is shallow for the kids to play, has a playground and washrooms. Will be going back again. Turn off Main Street onto Walker Ave and you will find a small public parking lot. You will be 25 steps to the beach and playground from this point.
