The road is a bit rough, but totally worth it! The lighthouse itself is in rough shape, to be expected. It's the views that really make this place. Prince Edward Island has so many hidden gems tucked away in every corner of the province, and this is definitely one of them, if you're willing to get your car dirty while you seek them out! If you're visiting the Bottle Houses, or on a road trip along the North Cape Coastal Drive, perhaps heading to West Point or North Cape, be sure to make a stop here. You will...

Yet another stunning viewpoint on PEI. The entrance road is unpaved and really hard to see, especially when coming from the South. Be sure to be looking for it closely and/or have GPS guidance. It's also only wide enough for one car, so if you meet another person, someone will have to back up. It should also be noted that there is no beach access. If you want that go a little further down the highway to the pier.
