Marache Point Lighthouse — Attraction in Cape Auguet

A gorgeous spot that I visited in June 2022 (brought a picnic lunch from La Goelette in Arichat!) with my son. A short walk from the parking area offers great views, surpassed only by those from the small lighthouse itself. We were fortunate to run into Jerry LeBlanc whose parents were the last of the resident lighthouse keepers and hear his stories...

Beautiful location!!!! Not busy at all, we had it to ourselves and as we sat down on the rocks we saw a seal swimming right by us! In love and a spot we'd like to return to during our next trip out East. #takemeback

Ps: there is a bit of a walk to get to the lighthouse along with a small ravine you'll need...

Beautiful quite place to enjoy a view. Short ten min walk along dirt track (had to jump over a little creek - not enough water to get wet), There was a group of ppl leaving as we arrived and then had the place to ourselves for over an hour. Peaceful, had our picnic lunch listening...
