I recently walked the Warren Lake Trailhead alone, and it was an incredible experience that brought me right back to the scenic trails of Kyoto, Japan. The trail is serene, peaceful, and offers an escape into nature that feels both grounding and rejuvenating. The walk itself took around 1.2 hours, and the path was easy to follow, with gentle inclines and clear markers. The lush forest lining the trail, combined with the stillness of the lake, created a calming atmosphere, reminiscent of Japan’s quiet trails around lakes and shrines. It’s ideal for a solo hike if you’re looking for introspection or simply to enjoy nature without too many distractions. Overall, Warren Lake is a beautiful trail for those who appreciate the simplicity and serenity of a forest walk, and it holds a charm that stays with you long after the hike is over. Highly recommend it to anyone traveling through Cabot Trail!

It is a beautiful lake. And a really nice spot to swim. The beach area is nice aswell. The trail is good just be careful there is lots of poison ivy. The water was very warm, it is a nice spot to spend a day. It was beautiful when we were there. Beautiful day, there's sand in some parts but mostly it is a rocky lake. It was not hard to get from off the main road. The dirt road there was not bad at all either. The was quite a few people there when we were there too. Just a good way to spend a nice summer day. We will definitely be back. I recommend this lake.

My favourite spot on earth. I try to make it each fall. It’s so calm, peaceful and quiet. You can hike around the lake about 5km. Easy and doable for all fitness levels. The beach is small but so clean and clear with sand. Bathrooms on site that are cleaned daily.

Make sure to bring bear spray, a horn or device making loud noises when hiking. This area is wild and there’s lots of wildlife (even though you may not see or hear them).

This park has a beautiful area to eat near the lake, a good size bathroom, and lots of parking. It is very quiet.

As of May 2022 part of the trail has been closed off after heavy rain as it is too wet to traverse. I imagine they will reopen it by end of...
