Cape Smokey Trailhead — Attraction in Cape Smokey

This is where the damage human activities have caused to the nature could be witnessed. Take the path down to the look-off right from the parking. It only takes 10 minutes to send us down to the spot. Turn around and look back, the construction chopped off a huge chunk of greens and land. It was all green, forests coming the whole time 20 years back. If you are here only for a scenic sight, skip the inconvenient landscape distortion and just take the trail of hours. Big fun, great views, lots to do and very affordable!

Having a family outing or just for summer fun ..Cape Smokey provides plenty of summer gems for the whole family. From great scenic views of the ocean from up top the mountains or swimming spots such as nearby Warren's lake:a complete and absolute wonderful place,long small pebbly/sandy beach with warm shallow water and the best sunsets in all of July and August!

Other than good 11km Hiking exercise, the trail needs a lot of maintenance to be called good. Firstly, there were a lot of overgrowth brush and glasses along the trail as high to chest level. Definitely not suitable for family with kids. Secondly, at least 3 places the trail was blocked by fallen trees (see pictures).
