The view here is amazing and well worth the drive. You are greeted with the smell of the ocean, the sounds of waves upon rocks and it feels very primal. The ocean that almost surrounds you seems to bring forth imaginations of tall sailing ships, rising out the bow heading towards the sky and the sudden lurch back down as gravity and the sea welcome it back into their loving embrace. The lighthouse is not accessible but being there is a lovely grounding experience. It's hard not to feel moved when you look out upon the graces or mother nature. Read moreThis place is worth the drive to grab an awesome photo. Views of beautiful sunrises and sunsets & Caribou - PEI ferry chance sights on route to the docking terminal. A super cool lighthouse that I can actually touch with my bare hand .. priceless. Needs picnic tables and a doggy bag disposal perhaps. You can see PEI from here on a clear day.
