The beach itself is beautiful, with clear shallow water, a floating dock, lots of picnic tables, green space, and structures for children to play.. unfortunately when we went on Aug 22/24 the entire site was COVERED in goose poop. We found a little patch for the children play but even the sand smelled. The floating dock was covered in poop and quite a few people swam out and came back saying it was disgusting and couldn’t climb up without getting poop on them. Very unfortunate and hopefully it can be cleaned up so people can enjoy the beauty...

This is really a wonderful spot. My 3 year old loved the large sandy beach and the gradually sloping entrance to the lake. The playground is quite nice as well, and I appreciated the large trees for shade by the water. For a family to spend time by the water, I really don’t think you could ask for anything more - parking, change rooms, shops and restaurants nearby…We will definitely be coming regularly. A local also told me that on Saturdays there is a farmer’s market and kids play groups. A great find...

A hidden gem. Nice little swimming spot, some rocks (wear water shoes if it bothers you) shade, picnic tables, playground and washrooms. There is a restaurant next door and a cute trail to access other local businesses (grocery, pharmacy) and further down a little rail car set up as a museum. One of our favorite spots when in the area. If you play pokemon GO - stops and gyms are along the...

Decided to have a stop by on the way home and wow, what a beautiful spot. Good for families as there is a kids park, sandy beach (small), clear water (some shells but overall very nice), and parking. The washroom is… very small and only the mens room was unlocked at the time (only one stall and box urinal lol); could be updated but would come again for the water. No dogs allowed.

Nice beach on a gorgeous lake, but no life guard on duty. There was covered picnic area providing shelter from the sun and rain. Several tables under a tree too. The restrooms were clean, but there was no place to wash your hands, just hand sanitizers. Very nice playground for kids.
