Silver Lake — Attraction in Central Frontenac

Do not waste your money for camping. Sure the beach is nice but there are so many other nice beaches available. The camping was awful- the highway kept every one awake - and it is a very noisy/party campsite. Bathrooms are awful unless you want to walk to the only decent one and wait in a huge line up. You are better off going to a private site if the location is what you need. Or go to any other provincial park- this was the worst provincial park ever. For the extra drive - go...

Silver Lake is a hidden gem right off the highway between Ottawa and Toronto. Gorgeous views, clear water, and a peaceful spot for a quick swim, picnic, or photo stop.
