Island View Beach Parking Lot — Attraction in Central Saanich

This beach is a little tucked-away-but-not-so-secret paradise! I live in Saanichton, and I remember taking my fiancee there for the first time. His reaction was PRICELESS! He couldn't believe that we have lived where we are now, which is about 10 minutes away, and he had never known it was there. It's a little slice of heaven. It gets pretty steady traffic there but it isn't nearly as busy as other beaches. The tide goes out and you can walk out pretty far on the sand.
