Chaplin Nature Centre — Attraction in Chaplin

Great stop along the TransCanada Highway, particularly if you're a birding enthusiast. The displays are interesting and the kids thought it was cool to be able to get free little baggies of salt from the local salt processing plant. There is a viewing platform out in front of the centre to look out at the salt flats. A fantastic stop on the Transcanada, for Bird lovers and those interested in the history of the area, wetland information, or inland salt lakes! The new caretakers were so kind and funny!

Interesting to see taxidermied birds that you'll see all along the lakes in this region and interactive exhibits for kids too!
