I love this honey house. I always buy our honey from here. They have two kinds; wild lowers and blueberry. I love both but prefer the wildflowers, my daughter is the opposite lol. We went for the guided tour as well. This was last summer where we had to wear masks. My eldest daughter was visiting so we (me and my 2 daughters) spent a couple of hours there. The price for the tour was a bit high, but since it’s something you would normally do once it’s worth it for the experience, memories and pictures. Our guide was very knowledgeable, we got to learn so much. Plus I was able to choose to go among the hive without a suit. I’m in menopause and it would’ve been way too hot for me and I wouldn’t have enjoyed it. I was warned I would be stung, but it was my choice. I did not get even one bite. We all enjoyed our visit. The price of a mason jar of honey is a great deal as well. If you have never tasted pure honey, you are sadly missing out. There are signed on highway 11 (sandwich boards) that the owner put up to guide you in. It’s about a minute drive off of the highway. Go visit this place, you’ll be happy you did.

We stopped here and was welcomed by the very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We enjoyed looking around the Honey House and purchased some different types of honey for ourselves and as gifts. We love the creamed honey and wildflower one. The blueberry was also very good. We like that there are different sizes to choose from so we can try small sizes of types we haven't tried before and get a larger size next time! The prices are very reasonable and this is a great spot to stop when in the area!

We took the hosted tour to the beehives. It's well worth it. The program helps you understand the importance of bees, why we need them and the work they do. Jana answered every question and was well versed on bees and bee keeping. Charlo Honeyhouse provides everything to allow you to safely and securely get up close and literally touch the bees. The staff (Marie) and Jana are super friendly and accommodating. Enjoy a great experience.

This was one of the coolest places I've ever been. Bees are such an amazing and essential species. Lots of fun and good information. Was really flabbergasted by the number of products made with bee-related products, from the obvious honey to creamed honey, to soaps/waxes, lip balms, and even pollen for many many health benefits! Something new to try is their "crunchy honey" which is honey with part of the honeycomb still intact. I highly...
